Alabaster is one of the few materials that lights up from within. Hold a bulb behind a slab of it and the stone glows with the warm cloud-veined translucency that no acrylic or resin imitator can match. Each piece in this series is unique: the veining patterns. color depth. and translucency vary block to block. and that variation is the point.

- Triac Dimmable (Wall Switch Control): Compatible with most standard LED silicon-controlled (Triac) wall dimmers(not included). This version allows you to adjust brightness via your existing wall switch but does not include a remote.
- Three-colour changed by switch version: Controlled by a standard wall switch(not included), allowing you to adjust the color temperature of the light. This version does not have a memory function. Each time the light is turned on, it will reset to the default setting.

Solford Alabaster Indoor Wall Light
adore this sconce. I have a lot of natural stone features in my mid century modern home, and when I saw this, knew I needed it for the light entering my master suite. I was concerned that installation may be a challenge due to the weight of the stone but it couldn't be easier. You remove the mount/lighting from the stone by unscrewing a bolt at the top and bottom. Then you screw the mount onto the wall. Next you wire this up, which is very simple. There's a box that you feed the appropriate wires into (it's labeled) and use an included tiny screw driver to tighten them in place. Next, you put the stone facade back on, and screw the bolts back into place. Quick and easy but due to the weight, you'll benefit from a second set of hands to hold it up. It's beautiful in person whether it is turned off or on due to the natural stone. The price point is spot on and a value for the money
